Job Opportunity: Technical Consultant - Cardiovascular Therapy Group

Medtronic is seeking a dedicated Technical Consultant to join our Cardiovascular Therapy Group. In this role, you will collaborate closely with interventional cardiologists, cardiac electrophysiologists, referral cardiologists, and other key stakeholders to optimize treatments for heart rhythm disorders. You will manage a diverse portfolio of products focusing on therapies for both bradycardia and tachycardia arrhythmias.

Your responsibilities will include supporting the implantation of cardiac devices such as pacemakers, defibrillators, and loop recorders in hospitals. You will also provide technical support and troubleshooting in clinics and private practices. This position covers the French region of Switzerland and offers remote work flexibility, with your home serving as the primary work location. Occasional attendance at a Medtronic facility for meetings may be required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leverage your technical expertise combined with a diplomatic approach to add value.
  • Deliver training for all stakeholders on the optimal use of our products to ensure outstanding patient outcomes.
  • Organize educational and proctoring programs.
  • Promote the advantages of our products from both technical and commercial perspectives.
  • Conduct training sessions for healthcare professionals and act as an expert in telemedicine.
  • Provide on-site support, consulting, and education to healthcare professionals during sales presentations, product demonstrations, and installation and maintenance of company products.
  • Participate in conferences and congresses.
  • Generate reports on activities and issues as required by management.

Required Knowledge and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a healthcare or hospital environment.
  • A passion for the technical aspects of Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Fluency in both French and English.
  • Strong flexibility and solid planning skills.
  • Familiarity with standard Information and Communication Tools (e.g., PowerPoint, Excel, Salesforce).
