Join Medtronic as a Technical Consultant
Medtronic is seeking a dedicated Technical Consultant for our Cardiovascular Therapy Group. In this role, you will collaborate with interventional cardiologists, cardiac electrophysiologists, referral cardiologists, and other key stakeholders to enhance treatments for heart rhythm disorders. You will manage a diverse portfolio of products designed for both bradycardia and tachycardia arrhythmia therapies.
Your responsibilities will include supporting cardiac device implants (pacemakers, defibrillators, loop recorders) in hospitals and providing technical support and troubleshooting in clinics and private practices. This position primarily covers the French part of Switzerland and is a remote opportunity, with your home or remote location serving as your main work base. However, there may occasionally be a need to attend Medtronic locations for meetings.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-level technical knowledge combined with a diplomatic approach.
- Deliver training to stakeholders on optimal product usage to ensure the best patient outcomes.
- Organize and facilitate educational and proctoring programs.
- Promote the value of our products from both technical and commercial perspectives.
- Conduct training sessions for healthcare professionals and serve as an expert in telemedicine.
- Offer on-site support, consultation, and education during sales presentations, product demonstrations, and product installation and maintenance.
- Participate in conferences and congresses.
- Prepare reports on activities and issues as required by management.
Required Knowledge and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a healthcare or hospital environment.
- A passion for the technical aspects of Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM).
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Fluency in both French and English.
- A strong ability to be flexible along with solid planning skills.
- Proficiency in standard Information and Communication Tools (PowerPoint, Excel, Salesforce).
