Your Impact

  • Be a part of our expanding international corporate financial services tax team in Zurich, with a specific focus on M&A and restructuring.
  • Proactively provide tax expertise to a diverse client portfolio, primarily composed of private equity and real estate clients, offering insights into the international tax implications of mergers, acquisitions, and restructurings.
  • Lead and coordinate multi-country M&A and restructuring projects, which include tax due diligence, tax structuring, SPA review, tax modeling, and post-completion tax advisory services, while leveraging the support of associates and senior associates.
  • Collaborate with the team to enhance the financial services, private equity, and real estate practice, strengthening client relationships, expanding the client base, and diversifying the service offerings.

Your Skill Set

  • A master's degree or an above-average bachelor's degree in business administration, economics, or law, with a focus on tax/international tax; an LLM in international tax would be considered an asset.
  • At least 4 years of relevant experience in taxation and M&A-related tax matters within an international environment. Experience with private equity or real estate clients is a plus.
  • Proven experience in managing and coordinating multi-country tax projects.
  • Ability to lead and mentor a team of senior associates/associates on complex tax projects.
  • A flexible, persistent, and team-oriented personality with excellent communication skills, who is open to navigating challenging and complex situations.
  • At the intersection of economics and law, you demonstrate a flair for numbers, models, evaluations, and the underlying legal issues.
  • Proficient in written and spoken English; proficiency in German and/or additional languages is a plus.
