Your Impact

Be a part of our expanding international corporate financial services tax team in Zurich, with a specific focus on M&A and restructuring.

Proactively provide tax expertise to a diverse client portfolio, primarily composed of private equity and real estate clients, offering insights into the international tax implications of mergers, acquisitions, and restructurings.

Lead and coordinate multi-country M&A and restructuring projects, which include tax due diligence, tax structuring, SPA review, tax modeling, and post-completion tax advisory services, while leveraging the support of associates and senior associates.

Collaborate with the team to enhance the financial services, private equity, and real estate practice, strengthening client relationships, expanding the client base, and diversifying the service offerings.
Your Skill Set

A master's degree or an above-average bachelor's degree in business administration, economics, or law, with a focus on tax/international tax; an LLM in international tax would be considered an asset.

At least 4 years of relevant experience in taxation and M&A-related tax matters within an international environment. Experience with private equity or real estate clients is a plus.

Proven experience in managing and coordinating multi-country tax projects.

Ability to lead and mentor a team of senior associates/associates on complex tax projects.

A flexible, persistent, and team-oriented personality with excellent communication skills, who is open to navigating challenging and complex situations.

At the intersection of economics and law, you demonstrate a flair for numbers, models, evaluations, and the underlying legal issues.

Proficient in written and spoken English; proficiency in German and/or additional languages is a plus.
