Your Responsibilities
Specific project goals include:
- Generating CAR immune cell communities, consisting of engineered T cells, NK cells, monocytes, and additional cell types through sophisticated in vitro and in vivo engineering platforms.
- Identifying co-factors that enhance CAR immune cell function using innovative screening platforms.
- Investigating anti-tumor activity and the interplay between immune cells and cancer environments in vitro and in vivo, utilizing advanced disease models such as organoids, slice cultures, patient-derived samples, and mouse models. This involves modern technologies including flow cytometry, multiplexed imaging, spatial transcriptomics/proteomics, and single-cell profiling.
- Analyzing patient samples from a concurrent clinical trial assessing CAR immune cell communities.
Your Profile
- Intellectual curiosity, creativity, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Motivation to contribute to projects that have a direct impact on patient outcomes.
- PhD in immunology, computational immunology, cell/molecular/cancer biology, bioengineering, biomedical sciences, or a related field.
- Experience in immune cell engineering, cellular immunotherapy, and/or advanced in vitro/in vivo disease models is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with single-cell and/or spatial technologies is a plus.
