Our Swiss market-leading FSI Deal Transformation and Post-Merger Integration Team advises Swiss corporate and mid-market clients to generate and create value from their mergers & acquisitions, divestitures, and carve-outs. With a dedicated team of FSI experts, we deliver integration and separation advisory services, lead complex engagements, and deploy deep functional expertise in finance, human resources, commercial, and technology.

At Deloitte, we support our clients in end-to-end M&A advisory, collaborating closely with our colleagues in transaction services, valuations, and corporate finance. As part of the Strategy, Risk, and Transactions Business Line, we partner with professionals in Strategy, Sustainability, Regulatory, and Forensics and Technology to ensure a seamless and value-driven approach to transactions.

How You Will Make an Impact

  • M&A Integration and Separation Leadership: Implement forward-looking approaches and tailored methodologies to lead complex M&A separations and integrations.
  • M&A Value Creation: Conduct and oversee operational and financial analyses to assess synergies, the impact and complexities of carve-outs, and the performance improvement potential of buyouts and corporate divestments.
  • Exceptional Client Service: Advise clients across Deloitte's offerings, building and maintaining strong relationships, while leading engagement teams to deliver exceptional client service in adherence to quality and robust methodology.
  • C-Suite Intimacy: Develop the ability to lead conversations with client CXOs, transforming ideas into tangible solutions and becoming the go-to contact for delivery transformation.
  • Project Scope and Delivery: Define, plan, resource, and execute project scope; manage expectations and timelines with clients, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
  • Team Leadership and Development: Inspire and guide team members to realize their full potential, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and excellence in project execution.
  • Analytical and AI Solutions: Provide strategic insights and deploy advanced analytical and AI solutions.

Who We Are Looking For

  • Demonstrated FSI experience with an entrepreneurial mindset, highly motivated to lead and grow independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with tight deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities focused on strategic decision-making, with a proven ability to simplify complex concepts and synthesize value effectively.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree from top-tier universities with exceptional academic performance.
  • A minimum of 7 years relevant M&A experience in consulting or industry roles, with clear expertise in sectors such as banking, wealth management, and insurance.
  • Strong project and stakeholder management acumen, with excellent skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and executive storytelling.
  • Aptitude with AI technologies and a keen interest in embedding AI solutions into our offerings to enhance client outcomes and drive innovation.
  • Fluency in English with excellent interpersonal skills and experience working within an international community. Proficiency in German is a plus.
