Your Impact

  • Become an integral part of our expanding international corporate financial services tax team in Zurich, focusing specifically on M&A and restructuring.
  • Proactively offer tax expertise to a diverse client portfolio, primarily consisting of private equity and real estate clients, providing insights on international tax implications related to mergers, acquisitions, and restructurings.
  • Lead and coordinate multi-country M&A and restructuring projects, including tax due diligence, tax structuring, SPA review, tax modelling, and post-completion tax advisory services, while effectively leveraging support from associates and senior associates.
  • Collaborate with the team to enhance the financial services, private equity, and real estate practice, strengthening client relationships, expanding the client base, and diversifying our service offerings.

Your Skill Set

  • A master's degree or an above-average bachelor's degree in business administration, economics, or law, with a focus on tax/international tax. An LLM in international tax is considered an asset.
  • At least 4 years of relevant experience in taxation and M&A-related tax matters within an international environment. Experience with private equity or real estate clients is a bonus.
  • Proven ability to manage and coordinate multi-country tax projects effectively.
  • Experience in leading and coaching a team of senior associates and associates on complex tax projects.
  • A flexible, persistent, and team-oriented individual who excels in challenging and complex situations, possessing outstanding communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with an aptitude for numbers, models, and evaluations, combined with a solid understanding of the underlying legal issues.
  • Exceptional written and spoken English proficiency; proficiency in German and/or additional languages is advantageous.
