Your Impact
- Contribute to our expanding international corporate financial services tax team in Zurich, with a particular emphasis on M&A and restructuring.
- Proactively offer tax expertise to a varied client portfolio, primarily focusing on private equity and real estate clients, including advisory on international tax implications related to mergers, acquisitions, and restructuring.
- Lead the management and coordination of multi-country M&A and restructuring projects, involving tax due diligence, tax structuring, SPA review, tax modeling, and post-completion tax advisory services, while leveraging support from associates and senior associates.
- Collaborate with the team to enhance the financial services, private equity, and real estate practice, strengthening client relationships, expanding the client base, and diversifying the service offerings.
Your Skill Set
- A master's degree or an above-average bachelor's degree in business administration, economics, or law, with a focus on tax/international tax; an LLM in international tax would be considered an asset.
- At least 4 years of relevant experience in taxation and M&A-related tax matters within an international environment; experience with private equity or real estate clients is an advantage.
- Proven experience in managing and coordinating multi-country tax projects.
- Ability to lead and mentor a team of senior associates/associates through complex tax projects.
- A flexible, persistent personality that thrives in challenging and complex situations, complemented by a customer-oriented approach and excellent communication skills.
- A strong aptitude for numbers, models, and evaluations, alongside a keen understanding of the underlying legal issues, in the intersection of economics and law.
- Excellent written and spoken English skills; proficiency in German and/or additional languages is a plus.
