Your Impact

  • Become a part of our expanding international corporate financial services tax team in Zurich, focusing specifically on M&A and restructuring.
  • Provide proactive tax expertise to a diverse portfolio of clients, primarily in private equity and real estate, advising on international tax implications related to mergers, acquisitions, and restructurings.
  • Lead the management and coordination of multi-country M&A and restructuring projects, including tax due diligence, tax structuring, SPA review, tax modeling, and post-completion tax advisory services, while leveraging support from associates and senior associates.
  • Collaborate with your team to develop the financial services, private equity, and real estate practices, strengthening client relationships, expanding the client base, and diversifying service offerings.

Your Skill Set

  • A master's degree or an above-average bachelor's degree in business administration, economics, or law, with a focus on tax/international tax; an LLM in international tax would be a valuable asset.
  • At least 4 years of relevant experience in taxation and M&A-related tax matters within an international environment, with experience with private equity or real estate clients being a plus.
  • Proven experience in managing and coordinating multi-country tax projects.
  • Ability to lead and mentor a team of senior associates and associates on complex tax projects.
  • Flexible, persistent, and open to tackling challenging and complex situations with a client-oriented mindset and exceptional communication skills.
  • A strong analytical flair for numbers, models, evaluations, and understanding the underlying legal issues at the intersection of economics and law.
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills; proficiency in German and/or additional languages is advantageous.
