Your Responsibilities:
As part of our team, your role will include:
- Supporting the implementation and monitoring of ESG initiatives
- Tracking progress and preparing status updates
- Assisting in coordinating the global ESG network and preparing meetings/workshops
- Collecting and consolidating sustainability data (including reporting and GHG accounting)
- Supporting the improvement of ESG data management processes and tools
- Contributing to internal sustainability communication (intranet posts, campaigns)
- Supporting external ESG communication (website content, customer information, marketing input)
- Handling sustainability questionnaires and audits from customers and suppliers
- Maintaining an overview of recurring requests and helping to develop standard responses
- Supporting sustainability certifications and ratings (e.g., EcoVadis, ISO 14001)
- Gathering evidence, maintaining documentation, and assisting in audit preparation
- Preparing presentations, fact sheets, and briefings on sustainability topics
Requirements Profile:
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Business, Social Sciences, or a related field; comparable training or experience is also welcome.
Experience:
The candidate should have:
- At least 3-5 years of professional experience in a corporate environment
- First practical experience or internships in corporate sustainability
- Experience in handling greenhouse gas inventories (GHG Protocol) and a strong understanding of relevant reporting and disclosure standards are significant advantages
- Experience in matrix organizations, project, or team management
Languages:
Clear and confident communication skills in both English and German (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus.
IT Skills:
Good analytical skills and a strong affinity for working with data and MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
