Exciting Opportunity: Surface Treatment Specialist (100%)
We are seeking dedicated and skilled individuals to join our shop floor in the Piece Part Repair department at Zurich Airport. If you are passionate about surface treatment and wish to contribute to our mission, we encourage you to apply online using the form below.
As a Surface Treatment Specialist, you will:
- Prepare engine components (e.g., cleaning, masking, degreasing)
- Perform surface finishing processes (e.g., coating, plating)
- Conduct mechanical finishing tasks such as grinding and blending
- Carry out self-inspection and document results
- Operate and monitor treatment processes and equipment
- Follow safety, quality, and chemical-handling standards
- Apply 5S principles and support continuous improvement initiatives
Your Profile:
- Completed technical apprenticeship in surface treatment, mechanics, production, or a related field
- Experience in paint, coating, blending, or plating
- Reliable, accurate, and quality-driven work style
- Team-oriented, flexible, and dependable
- Good German language skills (minimum B2); English is a plus
- Willingness to work 2 shifts
- Basic IT skills
