Logistics Specialist Position
We are looking for dedicated and skilled individuals to join our shop floor across various areas in our Logistics & Warehousing department at Zurich Airport. If this sounds appealing to you, we encourage you to apply for our Logistics Specialist position.
Key Responsibilities
- Pack, store, and ship materials in accordance with quality and safety standards.
- Receive and verify incoming goods, including materials and associated documentation.
- Record and manage warehouse activities utilizing SAP/ERP systems.
- Load and unload trucks, coordinating shipments with logistics partners.
- Conduct basic quality checks and manage discrepancies effectively.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth operations.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain general warehouse standards.
Your Profile
- Completed vocational training (apprenticeship) in logistics or a comparable qualification.
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently.
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy items.
- Valid driver's license and forklift license.
- Good command of German and basic English (A2+); proficiency in MS Office and SAP is a plus.
- Willingness to work in a 2-shift system.
