Strategic Procurement Manager

As a Strategic Procurement Manager, you will actively contribute to the formulation, execution, and evolution of procurement strategies. This role focuses on locating, evaluating, contracting, and maintaining the best sources of supply for the materials and services required by Operations. You'll consider factors such as quality, value, performance, cost, and the ability to respond quickly to changing supply requirements, including licensing and logistics services. You will own the selection and development of suppliers and vendors, driving ongoing and sustainable improvements in procurement costs to support SR Technics' growth objectives.

Your Tasks

• Develop and execute procurement and strategic sourcing strategies to continuously reduce total cost of ownership while improving quality, standards, and delivery performance of services and products.
• Analyze spend data and trends to identify, recommend, and justify strategic sourcing initiatives that meet the needs of SR Technics Switzerland.
• Recommend efficient methods for the formation of strategic sourcing initiatives, determining suitability based on spend analysis and marketplace conditions.
• Negotiate strategic sourcing agreements and manage changes to supplier and vendor contracts, ensuring compliance and alignment with organizational interests.
• Utilize negotiation and mediation skills to resolve disputes with suppliers and vendors, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
• Analyze bid responses to determine the most responsive bidders, optimizing costs for SR Technics Switzerland.
• Collaborate with operational and other Procurement teams in developing agreements, assisting in policy development, and tracking supplier performance.

Your Profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering, business administration, or economics, with a preference for Supply Chain or Purchasing education.
• Professional experience in a technical environment, preferably within the aviation sector, with expertise in Purchasing and Supply Chain management.
• Proven sourcing and contracting experience with strong project management skills focused on results and deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective relationship management, complemented by analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Extensive knowledge of databases and data handling tools.
• Language proficiency: German at level B2 and English at level C1.
