Purpose of Role

This is a targeted, phone-based role focused on generating candidates and recruitment assignments through effective sales skills and techniques. The position involves managing the recruitment cycle from start to finish, including negotiations with clients and candidates, as well as driving business development.

Key Accountabilities

  • Identify opportunities through media access, cold calling, and networking.
  • Build strong working relationships with candidates and clients by attending meetings and conducting client visits to ensure future and repeat business while enhancing brand image.
  • Generate referrals and acquire new clients leveraging market knowledge and business awareness.
  • Engage enthusiastically with clients to gather all necessary information for effective assignment management.
  • Pitch to potential clients for recruitment assignments, promoting the advantages of partnering with The Emerald Group and negotiating terms as required.
  • Source suitable candidates for assignments, managing the entire recruitment cycle to ensure successful placements.
  • Appropriately canvass candidates to clients, following established guidelines.
  • Maintain the company database, ensuring all activities are logged accurately.
  • Negotiate offers and terms, and support in business development as needed.
  • Demonstrate effective headhunting skills while mentoring junior team members.
  • Enhance knowledge of the recruitment industry and sector, building a strong reputation within the market.
  • Conduct administrative duties as necessary.
  • Ensure the security of all private and confidential information and data at all times.
