Purpose of Role

This role is a targeted, phone-based position focused on generating candidates and recruitment assignments. Utilizing effective sales skills and techniques, you will place candidates in assignments and generate recruitment fees on behalf of the Company. You will manage the recruitment cycle from start to finish, which includes negotiations with clients and candidates, as well as effective business development.

Key Accountabilities

  • Identify opportunities through appropriate media, cold calling, and networking.
  • Build strong working relationships with candidates and clients by attending meetings and conducting client visits, ensuring ongoing and repeat business while enhancing the brand image.
  • Generate referrals and new clients by leveraging market knowledge and business awareness.
  • Demonstrate enthusiasm and commitment while registering assignments with clients, ensuring all relevant information is gathered to work on assignments effectively.
  • Pitch effectively to potential clients for recruitment assignments, promoting the Company and the benefits of partnering with the Emerald Group while negotiating terms as necessary.
  • Source qualified candidates for assignments and manage the recruitment process from initiation to successful placement.
  • Canvass candidates effectively, adhering to guidelines as appropriate.
  • Maintain up-to-date records in the Company database and log all activities accordingly.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions as well as pursue business development opportunities as required.
  • Demonstrate effective headhunting skills and provide support to junior staff members.
  • Enhance your knowledge of the recruitment industry and related sectors to build a strong reputation in the market.
  • Complete administrative duties as required.
  • Ensure the security of all private and confidential information and data at all times.
