Key Responsibilities
- Specialize in preparing Tandoori items.
- Demonstrate ability in sauce and curry preparation.
- Prepare breads and meats using the Tandoor (Indian style clay oven).
- Plan and direct food preparation and cooking activities.
- Focus on garnishing and presentation of food using new cooking techniques.
- Plan menus while ensuring food quality and portion control.
- Proficiently use Tandoori-BBQ specialty equipment.
- Develop new menu options based on seasonal changes and customer demand.
- Assist with the preparation and planning of meal designs.
- Recruit and train new kitchen staff to meet restaurant and kitchen standards.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess:
- At least 5 years of experience in a well-reputed restaurant or hotel.
- A qualification in Hospitality, preferably a diploma or degree.
- A commitment to work for a minimum of two years in our restaurants here in Switzerland.
