Position Objectives

The Reduced Risk Products Category is becoming increasingly important and offers exciting opportunities to innovate and create superior consumer experiences. As the Product Design Taste Manager, you will drive multiple product development projects specifically on Heated Tobacco Products and across Reduced Risk Product categories. Additionally, you will contribute to developing future-ready capabilities and processes. By collaborating with diverse teams and external partners, you will help bring innovative products to market while enhancing consumer relevance and product performance.

Responsibilities

  • Lead product development projects across Heated Tobacco, Nicotine Pouches, and emerging product platforms.
  • Translate consumer, sensory, and business insights into product development opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with Research & Development (R&D), Scientific Regulatory Affairs (SRA), Brand teams, and Project Management Office (PMO) stakeholders.
  • Drive improvements in product development methodologies, processes, and ways of working.
  • Lead product evaluation activities and provide data-based recommendations for portfolio and product decisions.
  • Coordinate project plans, timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder alignment across multiple initiatives.
  • Work with external suppliers, agencies, and development partners to support innovation objectives.

Qualifications

  • Storytelling: A robust commercial understanding, capable of translating business questions into actionable recommendations and implications.

Professional Experience

  • Experience in product development, sensory science, consumer insights, innovation, category management, flavor development, or related areas.
  • Strong knowledge of product development and innovation processes.

Education

University degree in Marketing, Science, Engineering or a related discipline.

Language and Computer Skills

  • Excellent English language skills.

  • Strong analytical mindset with experience interpreting sensory, consumer, market, and technical data.
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to translate consumer insights and strategic objectives into actionable product plans while effectively managing multiple priorities and projects in a dynamic environment.
