Job Objectives
The Reduced Risk Products Category is becoming increasingly important, offering exciting opportunities to innovate and create superior consumer experiences. As a Product Design Taste Manager, you will lead multiple product development projects, specifically focusing on Nicotine Pouches, as well as other Reduced Risk Product categories, including Heated Tobacco and emerging platforms. You will contribute to the development of future-ready capabilities and processes. By collaborating across diverse teams and external partners, you will help bring innovative products to market while enhancing consumer relevance and product performance.
Responsibilities
- Lead product development projects across Heated Tobacco, Nicotine Pouches, and emerging product platforms.
- Translate consumer, sensory, and business insights into product development opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with Research & Development (R&D), Scientific Regulatory Affairs (SRA), Brand teams, and Project Management Office (PMO) stakeholders.
- Drive improvements in product development methodologies, processes, and ways of working.
- Lead product evaluation activities and provide data-based recommendations for portfolio and product decisions.
- Coordinate project plans, timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder alignment across multiple initiatives.
- Work with external suppliers, agencies, and development partners to support innovation objectives.
Qualifications
- Storytelling: A robust commercial understanding and the ability to translate business questions into actionable recommendations and implications are essential.
Professional Experience
- Experience in product development, sensory science, consumer insights, innovation, category management, flavor development, or related areas.
- Strong knowledge of product development and innovation processes.
Education
- University degree in Marketing, Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
Language and Computer Skills
- Excellent English language skills.

- Strong analytical mindset with experience interpreting sensory, consumer, market, and technical data.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to translate consumer insights and strategic objectives into actionable product plans while effectively managing multiple priorities and projects in a dynamic environment.
