As an (Assistant) Manager in the Global Employer Services (GES) team, you will provide multinational companies with targeted advice and strategies for running Global Mobility programs efficiently. Our team supports clients with the end-to-end management of global compensation for internationally mobile employees, ensuring optimal tax compliance and positions. As part of the US Tax team, you will advise on US tax returns and compliance topics and oversee the final signoff of US tax returns prior to delivery.

How You Can Make an Impact

  • Coordinate our global tax compliance services, liaising directly with clients and Deloitte offices worldwide.
  • Review and sign US individual income tax returns for US resident and non-resident taxpayers, including Forms 1040, 114, 8938, 1116, 2555, 8858, and other relevant forms.
  • Oversee tax reconciliations and tax equalization calculations, leading various tasks related to the delivery of Global Mobility programs.
  • Ensure the quality of work completed by junior team members.
  • Interpret and implement International Assignment Policies, ensuring consistent global tax treatment for various assignment compensation items and allowances.
  • Advise clients on tax and social security implications related to global employment issues including tax residency, double taxation avoidance, and complex compensation scenarios.

Who We Are Looking For

  • You have successfully completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Accountancy, or Law.
  • You possess 5 years+ of US tax experience/knowledge and hold a relevant qualification (e.g., EA, CPA, etc.).
  • Experience in global mobility or with a “Big-4” firm is an advantage.
  • You are inquisitive, take initiative, and enjoy responsibility, thriving in project teams with a systematic approach.
  • You communicate fluently in English, and proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
