What You Can Achieve
- Define test specifications based on requirements
- Automate tests utilizing test automation tools
- Conduct both automated and manual tests, documenting the results
- Troubleshoot issues and capture errors
- Provide, commission, and apply testing resources and environments
What You Bring
- B.Sc./M.Sc. in Engineering, with in-depth knowledge of technical computer science
- A passion for software testing and quality assurance, with enjoyment in identifying bugs
- Experience in creating and executing software tests at various levels
- An independent, structured, and solution-oriented approach to work, complemented by strong analytical skills
- Programming knowledge, ideally in C++ and Python
- Familiarity with systematic testing of software systems
- A willingness to further educate oneself in software testing
- Good communication skills in both German and English (oral and written), with proficiency at least at C1 level in both languages
Additional Experience (Advantageous)
- Experience in automating tests
- Experience in the embedded sector
- Experience in regulated environments (e.g., MedTech, automotive)
- Familiarity with GUI testing frameworks such as Squish or Qt-Test
- Experience with C++ (object-oriented programming within the embedded sector)
- Knowledge of UML in the embedded industry
- iSTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level certification
