Proclinical is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to play a pivotal role in managing a high-impact capital project as part of our Site Master Plan. This position emphasizes facility construction, commissioning, qualification, and handover, requiring collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of the project across all phases.

Responsibilities

• Lead large-scale capital projects from planning through commissioning and handover.
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary engineering strategies to meet schedule, budget, quality, and regulatory requirements.
• Act as a senior technical authority, reviewing and approving design changes and technical submittals.
• Oversee multimillion-dollar budgets, monitor costs, and participate in contractor selection and evaluation.
• Develop project schedules, identify critical path items, and implement risk mitigation strategies.
• Provide on-site engineering oversight during construction and commissioning, ensuring alignment with design intent and safety standards.
• Maintain detailed project documentation and prepare executive-level status updates and technical summaries.

Key Skills and Requirements

• Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management (Master's preferred).
• Experience leading capital projects in regulated industries such as pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, or medical devices.
• Strong technical judgment and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and complex contractor relationships.
• Familiarity with regulatory expectations for facilities in regulated industries.
• Proficiency in project management tools and engineering documentation.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills for cross-functional and executive interactions.
• Proficiency in English; German language skills are a plus.
• Willingness to travel occasionally (less than 10%).
