Key Responsibilities:

  • Further development of our measuring systems as a designer and project collaborator (mechanics, optics, electronics, data acquisition & analysis)
  • Conducting experimental and calibration measurements
  • Performing quality assurance and control
  • Providing support for commissioning and maintenance services at customer sites

Your Profile:

  • Bachelor or Master of Science (B.Sc. / M.Sc.) FH (Ing. FH, HTL) in mechanical engineering (e.g., process, system, electrical engineering) or a comparable qualification
  • Ideal candidates will have completed an apprenticeship as a polymechanic
  • Experience in optics (fiber optics, laser diodes) and electronics is advantageous
  • Interest in IT and image analysis, particularly focusing on deep learning/AI

Requirements:

  • High reliability, motivation, and flexibility
  • Precise and independent thinking and working style
  • Strong PC/EDP skills (MS Windows)
  • Valid driving license

Work Location:

Rheinweg 1b, 8200 Schaffhausen (approximately 5 minutes from the SH station and about 40 minutes from the ZH station; a parking space can be provided if needed).

Special Information:

Occasional short business trips abroad may be required.

Languages:

Fluency in German and English is required.
