Job Opportunity: Senior Private Banker (Hunter)

We are currently seeking a Senior Private Banker (Hunter) to cultivate and manage a portfolio of client relationships in the GCC Region. This role entails providing expert advice on products and tailored services for High Net Worth Individuals (HNWIs) and Ultra High Net Worth Individuals (UHNWI). Candidates should be goal-oriented, results-driven, and possess a proven track record of delivering outstanding results and achieving set targets with excellence.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Build and manage a portfolio, leading client relationships focused on GCC countries and delivering tailored advice to HNWI and UHNWI clients.
• Collaborate with the Investments team to develop solutions for clients concerning the generation, management, and transfer of their wealth.
• Deliver exceptional service to meet revenue targets.
• Acquire private and institutional clients, including private individuals, External Asset Managers, and financial institutions.
• Conduct regular visits and meetings with clients and prospects (both individual and corporate) to identify new business opportunities and maintain existing relationships.
• Analyze diverse investment opportunities, offering clients informed advice on investment offerings, private placements, and other product opportunities.
• Contribute to the bank's profitability and the evolution of our value proposition.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks and internal regulations, minimizing risks.
• Uphold and champion internal policies and procedures.

Profile

Education and Professional Qualifications

• University degree in Finance/Business.
• Certifications related to the professional activity are advantageous (e.g., CWMA).
• A Master’s Degree in Finance or relevant experience.
• 10-15 years of solid experience in Private Banking and the Financial Industry within the Middle East.
• Excellent knowledge of financial statement analysis and accounting standards.
• Demonstrated research experience in growth markets.
• Strong financial product knowledge and technical competence across asset classes.
• Well-versed in the competitive landscape, industry practices, and regulations pertaining to the private banking sector.

• Fluent in Arabic and English, with proficiency in French considered an asset.

• Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team, demonstrating a proactive, client-oriented approach and strong communication skills.
• Proficient in IT tools, Bloomberg, and/or similar platforms; prior experience with Avaloq is an asset.
