Help Our Clients Successfully Manage Their Compensation and Payroll

In today's complex global landscape, compliance is non-negotiable. Tax authorities worldwide are intensifying their focus on payroll accuracy and regulatory adherence—making expert guidance more critical than ever. This is where you come in. The Global Employer Services (GES) team, part of Deloitte's Tax & Legal practice, partners with multinational companies to navigate global mobility and payroll complexity with confidence. We deliver end-to-end payroll solutions and strategic advice that keeps our clients compliant, efficient, and ahead of the curve.

How You Can Make an Impact

You’re a client-first professional who thrives on taking ownership. Self-motivated and committed to continuous learning, you are passionate about developing both yourself and your team. You see payroll not as a compliance checkbox but as a strategic advantage for our clients.

As a Senior Consultant/Assistant Manager of our Swiss payroll team, you will:

  • Deliver expert advice on payroll and compensation matters, building trusted relationships with clients.
  • Own client management from scoping through delivery, ensuring exceptional results and client satisfaction.
  • Support business development by identifying opportunities to expand our Payroll offering with existing and new clients.
  • Contribute to team excellence by mentoring junior consultants and sharing best practices.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying innovative approaches to payroll service delivery.

Who We Are Looking For

We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of professional experience within practice or an in-house team providing compensation/payroll services to multinational clients and/or expatriates.
  • A detail-oriented professional with strong payroll expertise and a proven track record of delivering high-quality client work.
  • Self-motivated, collaborative, and committed to the professional development of you and your team.
  • Clear communication skills with clients and colleagues alike, taking pride in delivering exceptional service.
  • A qualification in fiduciary services or a degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline, complemented by further training in HR, payroll, or tax.
  • Knowledge of various payroll accounting systems such as Abacus and SAP (others are an advantage) as well as a high affinity for Artificial Intelligence and technology.
  • Excellent technical and analytical skills, being a reliable team player.
  • Proficiency in English and fluency in either French or German; additional language skills are considered a significant advantage.

Your Team

Become part of a diverse, multinational, and highly motivated team of 30+ across our Swiss offices. We will help you grow both personally and professionally through our trainings, mentoring programs, and on-the-job learning, as well as enabling connections with your colleagues across all business lines.
