Job Title: Senior Fullstack Engineer (m/f/d)
Company Overview
Scalera AG is an ETH Zurich spin-off that specializes in developing an AI-powered SaaS platform designed to automate tenders and supplier selection within the construction industry. Based in Zurich, our company employs around 20 professionals and is currently expanding its operations throughout Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
Responsibilities
- Develop modern web applications and design systems for our AI-based SaaS products.
- Focus on front-end development (approximately 60%) with a strong emphasis on user experience, performance, and code quality.
- Implement features in collaboration with back-end technologies (Python, FastAPI).
- Contribute to shaping architecture, coding standards, and development guidelines within the frontend team.
- Work closely with design, product, and data science teams to ensure a cohesive user experience.
- Support the ongoing development of internal tools, component libraries, and build processes.
Requirements
- Several years of experience as a full-stack or frontend engineer, with a focus on React, TypeScript, and Next.js at a senior level.
- Strong backend knowledge in Python (FastAPI) or comparable frameworks.
- Proficient in React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
- Familiarity with Python (FastAPI) and modern API architectures.
- Experience with complex frontend infrastructures (e.g., monorepos, CI/CD).
- Independent, structured working style with a passion for interdisciplinary collaboration.
- Excellent English language skills.
Terms of Employment
- Permanent full-time position (100%).
- Location: Zurich (Sihlcity).
- Start date: By agreement.
