Join our Valuation and Modeling team to help our clients enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of their enterprises. You will support finance and corporate leaders in making complex strategic investment decisions, analyzing enterprise performance, developing financial business plans, and evaluating the success of M&A deals and value creation initiatives. Our expertise encompasses deep corporate finance knowledge and valuation insights, enabling us to guide clients through their most challenging transactions, transformations, and corporate events globally.

How You Can Make an Impact

  • Be part of a team of highly specialized Valuation & Modeling practitioners, integrating core capabilities across finance, capital markets, corporate development & investment, financial planning, M&A, and strategy.
  • Lead diverse projects spanning various industries, from business and asset valuation to developing financial models that capture a company’s economic essence and collaborating with Boards and the C-Suite to quantify and create shareholder value.
  • Assess our clients’ financial and business challenges, evaluating viable solutions through quantitative analysis, market research, data modeling, and strategic business planning.
  • Provide support in the valuation of businesses and intangible assets (e.g., brands, customer relationships, IP portfolios) for purposes of mergers and acquisitions, litigation support, dispute resolution, financial reporting, purchase price allocations, restructuring, and financial advisory.
  • Conduct research and analysis across various sectors and industries, preparing financial and economic analyses on companies, comparable transactions, and public entities utilizing Deloitte databases and other publicly available information.
  • Develop intricate financial models in Excel using best practices, applicable to transactions, financing, capital investment decisions, and strategic corporate planning. Leverage these models to analyze and forecast financial outcomes, aiding in decision-making processes.
  • Present findings and analyses in compelling presentations and reports to effectively communicate insights and recommendations.

Who We Are Looking For

  • You are a curious and dedicated team player with a quick aptitude for learning and applying new information, keen on working methodically with attention to detail, taking on responsibilities, and adopting a proactive mindset in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.
  • You possess 3-5 years of post-university experience applying fundamental principles of valuation and corporate finance in the context of transactions or corporate planning, alongside exceptional skills in advanced financial modeling, whether in consulting, private equity, M&A, FP&A, or corporate development.
  • You hold a CFA charter or are in the process of obtaining it.
  • You demonstrate capability in corporate finance with proven success in constructing complex financial models, along with proficiency in valuation and accounting principles and standards.
  • You have advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • You are fluent in English and German (both oral and written); proficiency in French is a plus.
