The Corporate Finance M&A Advisory Team provides our clients with financial and strategic advice related to M&A transactions. Our Financial Institutions vertical consists of a dedicated group of highly qualified professionals, boasting an impressive track record of completed deals, with experience from investment banks and Big 4 corporate finance teams. This team is recognized as the leading advisor in this sector in Switzerland.

All new team members will have the opportunity to engage in live mandates, allowing them to contribute significantly to transactions and deal generation from day one.

How You Can Make an Impact

  • Develop and broaden your network while collaborating with C-suite clients and supporting business strategists on demanding domestic and cross-border projects.
  • Enhance your deal execution experience, encompassing project management, financial analysis, and the preparation of transaction documents and client presentations.
  • Participate in landmark transactions within the Swiss marketplace, providing buy-side and sell-side M&A advisory services to a prestigious clientele that includes nearly all top financial institutions in Switzerland.
  • Be part of a global network of financial services-focused M&A specialists, working in a highly professional, diverse, and enjoyable environment.
  • Mentor and train junior staff in developing financial and valuation models.

Who We Are Looking For

  • You are an open and curious individual with strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
  • Collaborative by nature, you communicate effectively across all levels and inspire both internal and external teams.
  • You possess a deep understanding of the financial services sector in Switzerland or internationally, with 3-6 years of relevant experience.
  • Your background includes prior work experience in the execution of M&A transactions, acquired at investment banks, consultancy firms, in corporate development, private equity/buy-side areas, or another Big 4 firm. You thrive in fast-paced and challenging environments due to your drive, reliability, and ability to advance critical tasks.
  • You have the ability to work autonomously under the supervision of an Engagement Director, involving the development of financial models such as valuation models and operating models, preparation of information memoranda or management presentations, and managing daily client communication.
  • You are an outstanding collaborator at all levels, capable of conveying a healthy sense of urgency, and are a consistent and effective communicator.
  • Professional working proficiency in French and/or German, as well as English, is required.
