About CSP
Since its inception in 2015 by Dr. Falko Paetzold with the inaugural Impact Investing for the Next Generation training at Harvard Kennedy School, CSP has evolved into a global platform. We span continents, with partners including MIT Sloan and Stanford PACS in the Americas, and our foundation in Zurich closely collaborating with the University of St. Gallen (HSG). In 2025, the CSP Foundation (CSPF) was established as the umbrella entity, unifying global operations and programs.
Key Responsibilities
As the Managing Director of CSPF, you will be pivotal in driving the Foundation's leadership and growth:
- Translate the board-adopted strategy into actionable priorities, measuring progress against shared global KPIs.
- Oversee core programs including the Next Gen and Family Office initiatives, ensuring qualified participants are engaged.
- Develop and execute CSPF's fundraising strategy to enhance our resource base through strategic relationships with donors and partners.
- Foster the global alumni community and expand the network of researchers, educators, and entrepreneurs.
- Enhance CSP's external presence, building relationships with academic institutions, industry leaders, and ecosystem actors.
- Collaborate with the Deputy Managing Director and other leaders while nurturing a high-performing team culture.
Your Profile
We seek a dynamic individual who possesses a blend of the following competencies:
- Several years of experience in leading high-performing organizations, particularly in social business development.
- A background in progressive fundraising, with success in securing major gifts.
- Experience in shaping organizational or programmatic strategy, ideally across multiple entities or geographies.
- Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills, with credibility among donors and stakeholders.
- Prior knowledge or a strong network in sustainable finance, impact investing, or philanthropy.
- A strategic thinker with a commitment to systems change and impact, comfortable in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in German is a plus.
