We are currently seeking a Safety Officer (M/F) on behalf of one of our esteemed clients.

Your Future Responsibilities

As a Safety Officer, you will play a pivotal role in managing occupational health and safety (OHS) initiatives, from reporting to analysis. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing OHS events and coordinating the implementation and monitoring of measures with various stakeholders.
  • Updating statistics and OHS indicators.
  • Acting as the primary reference for the OHS relay team.
  • Maintaining a positive dynamic within the group and offering support to relays in their activities.
  • Providing guidance and assistance to the employer and responsible managers on health and safety matters.
  • Collaborating with relevant stakeholders on risk prevention plans (RPO), compliance with internal rules, workplace ergonomics, and maternity-related issues.
  • Leading and coordinating various OHS projects, including:
    • Supervising the provision and monitoring of personal protective equipment (PPE).
    • Handling requests for ergonomic equipment and ensuring follow-up.
    • Updating and maintaining workplace instruction tools to reflect changes and needs from production and support functions.
    • Overseeing OHS training tools and ensuring their compliance with identified needs within the manufacturing facility.
  • Ensuring the maintenance and availability of first aid equipment, along with regular documentation updates.
  • Coordinating efforts with Maintenance and Building teams to prepare and organize work that respects health and safety requirements.

Your Profile

We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:

  • A recognized qualification in occupational health and safety (MSST), such as OHS Engineer, Safety Officer, or holder of the Federal Certificate of "Occupational Safety and Health Specialist," or an equivalent qualification.
  • 5 to 10 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in an industrial environment, with a strong understanding of processes and technical setup.
  • Basic knowledge or experience in mechanics and/or maintenance.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and general comfort with IT tools.
  • B2 level of English for effective communication in a professional setting.
  • A versatile, flexible, and responsive nature, recognized for proactivity, rigor, and reliability.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a passion for teamwork with diverse stakeholders.
  • Effective management of priorities and stress, especially during peak workloads, while maintaining organization.
  • Strong skills in managing operational projects, comfortable in coordinating and monitoring actions until successful implementation.
