Your Future Responsibilities

As a Utility Vehicle Mechanic, you will play a vital role in ensuring the effective operation of our fleet. Your responsibilities include:

  • Conducting regular maintenance and performing mechanical repairs on vans and utility vehicles.
  • Identifying and diagnosing mechanical, electrical, or electronic malfunctions.
  • Executing preventive maintenance operations and various inspections in compliance with regulations.
  • Replacing worn or defective components and making necessary adjustments to brakes, engines, suspensions, and transmissions.
  • Tracking and documenting all interventions performed on vehicles.
  • Managing the spare parts inventory and anticipating material needs for repairs.
  • Preparing vehicles for official inspections and participating in related approval procedures.
  • Collaborating with drivers and the logistics department to organize maintenance operations.
  • Conducting necessary tests after repairs to ensure the vehicles' proper functioning and safety.
  • Utilizing appropriate diagnostic tools to assess various systems of the vehicles.
  • Reporting any anomalies and proposing suitable repairs or interventions.
  • Maintaining a clean, organized workstation and workshop in compliance with safety regulations.

Your Profile

We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:

  • Training as an automotive mechanic or equivalent experience in maintaining utility vehicles.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanics, automotive electricity, and the maintenance of light utility vehicles.
  • A methodical and conscientious approach to quality in service interventions.
  • Ability to work independently while enjoying collaboration with teammates.
  • Responsiveness and a knack for quickly solving various mechanical issues.
  • Motivated and invested in a long-term commitment within a dynamic team.
  • Strong organizational skills and effective priority management.
  • Comfortability with various automotive diagnostic tools and devices.
  • A deep commitment to respecting safety rules and work procedures.
  • Flexibility to adapt to different types of vehicles and interventions.
  • Ideally, holding a valid driver's license in Switzerland.
  • Reliability, punctuality, and a sense of responsibility.
