SAP SD OTC/MDM Business Process Consultant

Duration: 3+ months (with option to extend)

Start Date: October

Location: Hybrid (On-site in Germany approx. 2-3 days/week or for critical workshops & onboarding; remote for the remainder)

Overview

For our international client, we are seeking an experienced SAP SD OTC Business Process Consultant with additional expertise in MDM processes. Your primary responsibility will be to support the customer in the collection, assessment, and design of SD OTC and MDM processes as part of the SAP S/4HANA implementation and rollout.

Experience with S/4HANA projects is preferred, although the position does not involve customization or technical work on SAP.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as an SAP SD OTC Business Process Consultant.
• Support MDM processes.
• Serve as a bridge between business and technical teams, as well as the implementation team.
• Collect, assess, and process SD OTC and MDM business requirements from business counterparts.
• Provide guidance and solution proposals.
• Support client's S/4HANA rollouts.
• Lead workshops and explain template solutions.
• Identify gaps and partner with technical teams for solution design, development, and implementation of new functionalities.
• Create test scripts and training materials.
• Manage cutover processes and hypercare.
• Handle internal and external stakeholder management and communication.

Requirements

• Extensive project experience in business process and solution design and delivery.
• Long-term experience in SAP SD OTC.
• Strong expertise in MDM processes, including customer and article master data.
• Preferred experience with SAP S/4HANA projects.
• Excellent knowledge of business processes and relevant technologies in Wholesale, Retail, and/or E-Commerce.
• Experience with international projects for European businesses.
• Background in the retail, fashion, or consumer goods industry is highly beneficial.
• Fluency in English; German language skills are a plus.
