Role Overview

In this role, you will be responsible for order processing within the spare parts department of our Service division based in Baden, Switzerland, ensuring efficient and smooth order fulfillment. This position reports to the Head of Order Fulfillment & Project Management.

Your Responsibilities

  • Provide international service center support, including oral and written communication in English and German (knowledge of additional languages is a plus; however, German is a must).
  • Conduct technical and commercial order processing in the IT processing system (SAP).
  • Prepare and follow up on quotations.
  • Process e-business transactions, including purchase orders, order confirmations, and invoices.
  • Organize and coordinate delivery logistics and workshop operations.
  • Create export and transit documents in the electronic customs processing system (SAP GTS).
  • Provide shipping documents and manage transport orders with freight forwarders.
  • Handle invoicing of shipments as well as create credit and debit notes.
  • Monitor accounts receivable and assist accounting with dunning processes.
  • Manage letters of credit in collaboration with the finance department.
  • Address customer complaints, freight forwarder claims, and insurance matters (e.g., transport damage, shipment loss, delays).
  • Organize and monitor return shipments.
  • Ensure independent process control, including monitoring inventory, invoicing deliveries, and managing accounts receivable.
  • Drive continuous process improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in on-call duty (approximately 6 times per year, each for 1 week, requiring 24/7 availability).

Your Background

  • Commercial or technical apprenticeship with additional training in a commercial field.
  • Several years of professional experience.
  • Genuine interest in technology, particularly in turbochargers.
  • Fluency in English and German.
  • Proficient in SAP (SD-Module) and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated sense of responsibility and commitment.
  • Excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented approach.
  • Flexibility and a team-oriented mindset.
  • Willingness to perform emergency service as per the operational schedule.
