Job Opportunity: Reinsurance Manager

We are seeking a talented and dedicated Reinsurance Manager to join our Group Reinsurance team, focusing on Specialty Lines of Business. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical background and demonstrate expertise in the field.

What to Expect

• Cross-border cooperation with all Business Units of the group.
• Establishing and managing the Reinsurance needs of the Business Unit while overseeing the respective Lines of Business on the outward side.
• Acting as a bridge between partners, facilitating data delivery, analytics, actuarial functions, accounting, and claims management.

We Expect

• A university degree in business, insurance, actuarial science, or computer science.
• Several years of experience in a similar role; strong candidates with the ability to rapidly grow into the position will also be considered.
• Responsibility for the Specialty Lines of Business: Marine, Bond, Fine Art, and Cyber.
• Participation in a small team, including taking on deputization responsibilities for other Lines of Business.
• Hands-on experience in establishing processes and systems in a (re)insurance company.
• The capacity to coordinate activities among a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Analytics and presentation skills tailored to various stakeholders.
• Networking and relationship capabilities coupled with entrepreneurial and commercial thinking.
• The ability to work within tight deadlines while managing multiple priorities.
• A self-driven professional with a structured and quality-focused mindset.
• Business proficiency in English, with proficiency in German being an advantage.
