Project Manager Outage (PMO)
In this role, you will ensure professional and reliable outage and inspection management for our Service Business, leveraging your extensive knowledge and passion for our GT26 and GT36 gas turbines.
Your Tasks
- Lead international overhaul and inspection projects for combined cycle power plants.
- Ensure best-in-class results during project preparation, execution, and close-out phases.
- Take responsibility for dedicated project control concerning time, cost, and quality.
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with Environmental Health & Safety, Quality, and schedule requirements.
- Set tasks and priorities, including deadlines for the team.
- Monitor project execution performance and review targets relating to time, cost, and quality.
- Ensure closing of feedback loops after inspections and overhauls.
- Optimize the deployment of assigned resources.
- Collaborate closely with other Ansaldo departments, local Service Centers, field service personnel, suppliers, and clients.
Your Profile
- Degree in engineering with a strong educational or professional background relevant to the power plant business, particularly with GT power plants.
- Minimum of three years of experience in construction, commissioning, or service for Combined Cycle power plants.
- Excellent management skills along with proficient planning and budgeting abilities.
- Strong knowledge of gas turbines and combined cycle power plants.
- Customer service-oriented with solid negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Motivating, reliable, and goal-oriented team leader who can handle conflicts proactively.
- Flexibility and ability to work under pressure.
- Willingness to travel worldwide as needed (up to 10% of the time).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent command of English; knowledge of German is an advantage, and familiarity with Italian and French would be a plus.
