Position Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Project Manager to lead the transformation of our global Accounts Payable / Invoice-to-Pay (I2P) process. In this pivotal role, you will take end-to-end responsibility for redesigning, harmonizing, and digitalizing the AP process, beginning with the Service Network and preparing the organization for a future-proof global setup.

As the central AP transformation lead, you will collaborate closely with a finance colleague within Accelleron’s Procure-to-Pay landscape and will be instrumental in driving automation, transparency, compliance, and operational efficiency across functions. Following the successful stabilization of the AP transformation, this role will evolve to encompass further SAP S/4HANA Phoenix projects within the scope of Source-to-Pay processes.

You will work in close partnership with Finance, IT, Operations, and Procurement, playing a key role in Accelleron’s S/4HANA readiness and operational excellence journey. This position will be based at our global headquarters in Baden, Switzerland, and will report to the Global Head Value Chain Planning & Fulfillment within the Value Chain function.

Your Responsibilities

  • Lead the global Accounts Payable / Invoice-to-Pay transformation project from design to stabilization in close collaboration with Finance.
  • Drive the implementation of a modern AP solution within the Service Network, focusing on automation, compliance, and global process harmonization, including e-invoicing.
  • Act as the process authority for AP within the end-to-end P2P framework, ensuring full alignment with Procurement, Finance, and IT.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable AP process and system solutions, ensuring a future-proof setup for international growth.
  • Prepare and execute the transition of the AP process into SAP S/4HANA, including data migration, testing, cutover, and user enablement.
  • Ensure consistent process documentation, training material, and global adoption.
  • Manage scope, dependencies, milestones, and senior stakeholder communication across all levels.
  • After successful AP stabilization, take on further responsibilities for additional SAP S/4HANA Phoenix projects, particularly within the SAP MM / Finance integration area.

Your Background

  • University degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or IT.
  • Several years of experience in Accounts Payable (AP) / Invoice-to-Pay (I2P) process ownership or transformation, ideally in SAP-based environments.
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of SAP AP / FI and SAP MM integration (GR/IR, account determination, tolerances, vendor master).
  • Solid experience with E-Invoicing, automation tools, and ERP-integrated AP solutions.
  • Proven track record in project management, particularly in transformation or ERP implementation projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex cross-functional initiatives across functions and countries.
  • Strong analytical, structured, and implementation-driven mindset.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across all hierarchy levels.
  • Fluent in English and German, both written and verbal.

Your Benefits

  • Attractive compensation and benefits.
  • Employee Assistance Program.
  • Global parental leave program.
  • Flexible working models.
