Join Our Mission at Biovision
Biovision is dedicated to creating sustainable food systems from farm to fork. We advocate for agroecological approaches, equitable value chains, food security, and agricultural production that aligns with nature's harmony. By championing targeted research and initiatives in Sub-Saharan Africa and Switzerland, we strive to develop innovative solutions for the future, both through our initiatives and partnerships.
Founded in 1998 by Swiss entomologist and Right Livelihood Award laureate Hans Rudolf Herren, Biovision's projects aim to enhance the lives of farming families while protecting the environment. Our focus on agroecology embodies a holistic strategy that incorporates sustainable farming practices, socially responsible business methods, and inclusive dialogue in policy-making. This approach enables us to tackle pressing global issues such as hunger, climate change, and biodiversity loss. Together, we are committed to building a resilient food system for the future.
