Role Overview

In our High-Speed division, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring material availability and operational excellence within our procurement and supply chain processes. Your responsibilities will include managing supplier relationships, optimizing workflows, and serving as a central interface across multiple internal teams to ensure smooth and reliable operations in a fast-paced, high-complexity environment.

Your Responsibilities

  • Manage orders and communicate with external suppliers regarding delivery schedules, priorities, order confirmations, and shipping details.
  • Coordinate closely with internal teams to initiate appropriate actions in response to deviations, such as escalation or adjustment of delivery plans, arrangement of express shipments, or rerouting orders to alternative suppliers.
  • Analyze supplier forecasts and develop best practices. Assess feasibility and implement measures to ensure delivery capability.
  • Optimize operations, processes, and procedures to enhance overall enterprise efficiency.
  • Act as a connector: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and become a key resource for process clarity and system usability.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and lead optimization projects.

Your Background

  • A degree in supply chain management or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in planning, logistics, or supply chain execution, ideally in an industrial or project-driven environment.
  • A keen interest in systems and structure, with hands-on experience in SAP ECC; knowledge of S/4HANA is a significant advantage.
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive mindset.
  • Fluency in German and English.
  • Knowledge of lean methodology is a plus.
