Role Overview

In our High Speed division, you will play a vital role in ensuring material availability and operational excellence throughout our procurement and supply chain processes. Your responsibilities will include managing supplier relationships, optimizing workflows, and serving as a central interface across multiple internal teams to facilitate smooth and reliable operations in a fast-paced and complex environment.

Your Responsibilities

  • Manage orders and communicate with external suppliers regarding delivery schedules, priorities, order confirmations, and shipping details.
  • Closely coordinate with internal interfaces to initiate appropriate actions in case of deviations, such as escalations, adjustments to delivery plans, arranging express shipments, or rerouting orders to alternative suppliers.
  • Analyze supplier forecasts and develop best practices while checking feasibility and deriving measures to ensure delivery capability.
  • Optimize operations, processes, and procedures in alignment with enterprise goals.
  • Act as a connector by collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, serving as a go-to resource for process clarity and system usability.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and lead optimization projects.

Your Background

  • A degree in supply chain management or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in planning, logistics, or supply chain execution, ideally in an industrial or project-driven environment.
  • A curiosity for systems and structure, with hands-on experience in SAP ECC; knowledge of S/4HANA is a strong advantage.
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive mindset.
  • Fluency in German and English.
  • Knowledge of lean methodology is considered an advantage.
