Your Commitment

As part of our team, your responsibilities will include:

• Optimization, further development, and support of key applications, including POS solutions and SAP CAR (module POSDTA).
• Conception, evaluation, and prioritization of requirements and change requests.
• Ensuring technical implementations, including test management, while supporting smooth transitions into productive operations.
• Analysis and optimization of existing business processes.
• Providing 2nd level support, including error analysis, issue resolution, and documentation.
• Supporting additional retail-related applications such as ESL, self-checkout systems, and composite scales.
• Acting as a liaison between application competence teams, business stakeholders, IT departments, software vendors, and other relevant internal and external partners.
• Working closely with specialized departments such as POS support and digital development teams.
• Coordinating and managing external IT service providers.
• Participating in IT projects and sub-projects.

Achieving the Difference Requires

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Completed vocational training with further education in business informatics (FH/HF) or a comparable business or IT-related qualification.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in business informatics within the retail sector and/or POS application operations.
• A strong understanding of POS-related business processes.
• Familiarity with technologies and concepts such as ESL, composite scales, and self-checkout systems; knowledge of SAP (ECC/S4) and SAP CAR (POSDTA) is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
• A desire to collaborate with stakeholders from business departments, IT, and external partners.
• Excellent communication skills, a strong customer orientation, and assertiveness.
