Platform Engineer - 3 Month Contract Role + Likely Extension - Remote
EURED is excited to present a new contract opportunity for a Platform Engineer to join one of our key partners on an AWS Security project. This contract is initially set for 3 months, with a strong possibility of extending for an additional 10 months. The role is full-time and will commence as soon as possible, allowing for a fully remote work environment within Europe.
Role Responsibilities
As a Platform Engineer, you will take charge of governance, migration, and lifecycle management of MCP servers within an Enterprise AI Agent Development Platform. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Building and implementing processes to ensure MCP servers are onboarded, approved, migrated, and managed accurately within the enterprise registry.
- Establishing appropriate governance and approval controls throughout the lifecycle of the servers.
Desired Skills
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience as a Platform or Data Engineer.
- Proficient in Python for ETL scripting.
- Experience with enterprise governance workflows.
- Familiarity with registry governance and lifecycle management.
- Knowledge of migration and onboarding processes.
- Strong understanding of approval gates and lifecycle controls.
- Experience working within enterprise/cloud platforms.
- Good knowledge of MCP (Model Context Protocol).
- A solid understanding of AI technologies.
