Position Overview

We are currently seeking a Planning & Fulfillment Specialist (m/f/d) to join our global SAP S/4HANA transformation initiative. This role will focus on pre-project activities and operational process development in the area of Planning & Fulfillment.

As a Planning & Fulfillment Specialist, you will lay the groundwork for future planning processes, concentrating on planning-relevant master data, capacity planning, and continuous improvement of operational P&F processes. You will collaborate with process owners and project leads by providing structured analyses, clear documentation, and well-prepared inputs for the SAP S/4HANA program.

This position is ideal for professionals who have hands-on experience in planning or supply chain operations and wish to enhance their expertise in a global transformation environment. You will be based at our global headquarters in Baden, Switzerland, reporting to the Head of Value Chain Planning & Fulfillment.

Your Responsibilities

  • Contribute to SAP S/4HANA pre-projects: Participate actively in preparatory activities such as process analysis, requirement clarification, data assessments, and concept preparation in the context of Planning & Fulfillment.
  • Work on planning-relevant master data: Analyze, improve, and govern master data utilized for planning and capacity management (e.g., materials, BOMs, routings, capacities) in collaboration with business and system stakeholders.
  • Drive the development of P&F processes: Work with process owners to document, analyze, and enhance operational planning and fulfillment processes.
  • Contribute to capacity planning topics: Support analyses and concept development related to capacity planning, planning horizons, and bottleneck transparency.
  • Ensure transparency and documentation: Create and maintain process documentation, guidelines, training materials, and SharePoint content to promote standardization, scalability, and knowledge transfer.
  • Act as a cross-functional interface: Collaborate closely with Planning, Operations, Procurement, and IT to ensure alignment between divisional business requirements and system solutions.

Your Background

  • Degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Experience in planning, supply chain, operations, or process improvement within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Solid hands-on experience with SAP-based processes (SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA required), ideally in planning-related contexts.
  • Good understanding of planning processes and the significance of master data as a key enabler for operational and tactical steering.
  • First hands-on experience in project work or sub-projects (e.g., process harmonization, system rollouts, transformation initiatives).
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and take shared responsibility for results and deliverables.
  • Highly structured and analytical working style, capable of breaking down complex topics into clear and actionable work packages.
  • Strong focus on process quality, collaboration, and end-to-end thinking across functions.
  • Fluent in English and German.

Your Benefits

  • Attractive compensation and benefits.
  • Employee Assistance Program.
  • Global parental leave program.
  • Flexible working models.
