Job Function Summary

The successful candidate will support the Equities Volatility business through robust derivatives trade management and post-trade operations oversight. They will manage the end-to-end lifecycle of listed derivatives activity, ensuring accurate trade capture, allocations, clearing, reconciliations, and exception resolution. This role demands strong control discipline, stakeholder management, and the ability to operate effectively in a high-volume, risk-sensitive environment.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Oversee the end-to-end listed derivatives trade lifecycle, including trade capture, allocations, clearing, and position management.
  • Monitor and resolve discrepancies between exchange and books and records across trades, positions, and cash.
  • Manage internal and external position transfers, give-ups/give-ins, and coordination with clearing brokers.
  • Support regulatory and exchange reporting requirements, including control enhancements and exception management.
  • Collaborate with portfolio managers, trading desks, brokers, exchanges, and internal teams to ensure accurate operational support.
  • Drive straight-through processing (STP) improvement, process efficiency, and operational scalability across the platform.

Qualifications/Skills Required

  • 10+ years of experience in listed derivatives operations, trade management, clearing, and reconciliations.
  • Strong knowledge of the exchange-traded derivatives lifecycle and post-trade controls across EMEA and US markets.
  • Experience managing exceptions, regulatory reporting, and operational processes related to exchanges and clearing counterparties (CCP).
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, interacting with trading, client service, compliance, brokers, and vendors.
  • Experience working across global teams and supporting change, migrations, and new product onboarding.
