Senior Level Product Engineer - High Performance Miniature Circuit Breakers
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Level Product Engineer to lead the development of high performance miniature circuit breakers. This role involves conducting pre-studies, planning, evaluation, and the development of key product features, all of which require a broad technical engineering knowledge.
Key Responsibilities
In this position, you will be primarily responsible for:
- Coordinating tasks within cross-functional teams to investigate issues, develop effective solutions, and prepare recommendations in your capacity as lead engineer or project manager.
- Analyzing the technical and business aspects of proposed solutions to support the decision-making process.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Precision Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Strong technical knowledge in the following areas:
- Mechanical and electrical systems of low voltage products
- Design of mechanical and electrical interfaces
- Plastic and metallic parts design
- Manual and automated assembly processes for low voltage components
- Proven experience in Project Management methodologies.
- Experience collaborating with global suppliers and various manufacturing and engineering resources.
- Solid understanding of design for manufacturing and assembly.
- Proficient in CAD software (preferably Solidworks) and highly competent in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS-Project).
- Fluent in German and English (both spoken and written) with excellent communication skills.
- A high degree of self-motivation, a quick learning ability, and a results-oriented approach with a positive attitude.
- At least 6 years of professional experience in the relevant field.
