Job Overview

The Manager, Critical Infrastructure, Healthcare & Education, plays a pivotal role in leading one of Microsoft's most strategic industry portfolios in Switzerland. This position is primarily accountable for managing Critical Infrastructure and Healthcare customers, which include some of the country's most significant organizations. The successful candidate will oversee business performance, customer success, executive engagement, and people leadership within the segment.

Bringing deep expertise in regulated industries, the ideal candidate will have a substantial understanding of the business, operational, regulatory, and technology challenges faced by critical national infrastructure providers and healthcare institutions. They will be adept at building trusted relationships with C-level executives, serving as a strategic advisor to customers, and facilitating the acceleration of digital, security, data, and AI transformation.

Responsibilities

  • Drive business growth by leading and empowering account teams, ensuring successful execution of Go to Market (GTM) strategies to meet customer needs throughout their lifecycle.
  • Enhance customer satisfaction by modeling executive engagements with business decision-makers and C-level executives.
  • Outperform competitors by establishing Microsoft as a market leader, maximizing customer spend, and achieving key targets in billed revenue, consumption, and adoption.
  • Foster partnerships across the organization to deliver business value for customers and achieve results for Microsoft.
  • Deliver results through empowerment and accountability by modeling, coaching, and supporting your team.
  • Develop, empower, and transform your team to address industry and customer needs through effective talent acquisition, retention, and development.
  • Apply industry and market expertise to lead a team in identifying solutions that align with customer needs, while developing industry-specific capabilities and expertise in local trade, regulatory, and policy environments.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree and extensive experience in regulated industries in Switzerland, particularly in Critical Infrastructure, Healthcare, and Education, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven people leadership experience with a track record of building high-performing teams and talent development in complex matrix organizations.
  • Demonstrated success in managing strategic enterprise accounts and executive customer relationships, with hands-on experience leading cloud, security, data, and AI transformation initiatives.
  • Fluency in German is required due to close collaboration with local customers.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Fluency in French is a plus.
