Overview

We are seeking an experienced Lead Security Architect to support our international client in enhancing their Security Architecture and Application Security in response to the evolving cybersecurity landscape.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the Lead Security Architect, owning the overarching Security Architecture direction and driving its coordinated implementation.
• Translate security requirements into actionable architecture guidance and guardrails.
• Define and implement Security Architecture, including use cases, blueprints, and proof of concepts (POCs).
• Align Security Architecture with Corporate Information Security requirements, Enterprise Architecture, and technology roadmaps.
• Coordinate architectural interfaces and oversee risk-based architecture reviews for major changes and significant designs.
• Monitor relevant technology and cybersecurity developments.
• Align stakeholders and facilitate decision-making processes.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Extensive project experience as a Lead Security Architect.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity threats and Zero Trust Architecture projects.
• Experience across Cloud, Application, Identity, Data & Infrastructure Security.
• Proven expertise in Enterprise Architecture Security.
• Experience in designing Security Architecture for large international organizations.
• Background in manufacturing preferred.
• Strong skills in Stakeholder Management & Risk Management.

Project Details

• Start Date: October/November (December possible too)
• Duration: 12 months
• Workload: Full-time, 5 days per week
• Location: Remote, with a minimum of one on-site visit per month in Germany and/or Poland
• Languages: Fluency in English is required; German is a plus.
