How You Can Make an Impact

The Solution Architect will work on a variety of projects concurrently, owning the end-to-end design from inception to the completion of delivery. This role will involve exposure to various business challenges and collaboration with subject matter experts, including third parties, as well as implementation teams to address these challenges.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Providing technical leadership to define and articulate practical and commercially viable solutions based on functional and non-functional requirements pertaining to business challenges or opportunities.
• Ensuring all business, application, information/data, infrastructure, and security elements are defined in sufficient detail for implementation teams to progress.
• Covering testing, release/transition, and operational/support/service considerations.
• Collaborating with the Enterprise Architecture team to ensure solutions align with business and technology strategies, while seeking minimal dispensations where appropriate.
• Leading and coordinating internal and external subject matter experts (SMEs) involved in solution design and implementation.
• Driving the implementation of approved solutions in close cooperation with SMEs, including hands-on implementation as needed.
• Identifying quick wins or short-term transition architectures that enable prompt realization of business benefits with reduced risk, complexity, and cost.
• This role does not require line management responsibilities.

Who We Are Looking For

Essential:

• Experience in designing and delivering pragmatic and commercially viable solutions for new and existing business challenges.
• Demonstrated experience in defining the business, application, information/data, infrastructure, and security elements of a solution, meeting both functional and non-functional requirements.
• Outstanding communication skills in English, both oral and written, with the ability to convey solutions to both senior and technical audiences.
• Adequate collaboration skills to ensure quality output from SMEs, including third-party experts.
• 3 - 5 years of experience in two or more of the following areas: operating systems, system security, networking, compute, storage/backup, cloud computing, and database management (primarily within the Microsoft stack, including Azure).
• Azure Cloud Architect certification or equivalent experience, along with working knowledge of DevOps tools, automation, and methodologies used for deploying solutions within a cloud platform.

Preferred:

• TOGAF accreditation or BCS Chartered Professional, or Fellow in Solution Development & Architecture.
• Familiarity with industry compliance and security standards (e.g., ISO27001, PCI-DSS).
• Proficiency in German, both oral and written.

You will be joining an established Project Delivery team that has successfully bridged the gap between business and IT. Our team consists of Project Managers, Business Relationship Managers, Solution Architects, and Business Change Managers.
