Your Crew:

Join our Materials & Process (M&P) team, where you will work on developing innovative launcher structures for tomorrow's payloads. You will collaborate in a multicultural environment, engaging hands-on with our experts on exciting projects for a diverse range of customers. Support the manufacturing and testing of composite parts, and take the lead on your own project. This is an opportunity to challenge yourself and learn something new every day, as each day presents unique chances to go Beyond! The M&P team is looking for an intern for a minimum period of 6 months.

Your Mission:

  • Write the technical documentation required to qualify materials and processes used in space applications
  • Define methods to characterize various material properties, including metals, composites, paints, and other materials used in our products
  • Supervise the manufacturing and testing of specimens
  • Analyze test data and provide interpretations based on theoretical knowledge acquired during your studies
  • Develop new manufacturing concepts and validate them

Your Story:

  • Master's or Bachelor's student in Material Sciences or Mechanical Engineering; must be at least in the 5th semester of your Bachelor's program
  • Very good German skills (min B2-C1) and fluent in English (able to communicate in daily business)
  • Any experience in the aerospace industry and/or with composite materials (CFRP) is a plus, though beginners are encouraged to apply!
  • A critical thinker who enjoys tackling challenges and finding optimal solutions independently
  • Excellent team player; you will join a collaborative group eager to support one another
