Informatica IDMC / IICS Developer / Developeress

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC / IICS) Developer to collaborate with a leading banking client in Zurich. In this role, you will design and implement cloud-native data integration and automation solutions utilizing Informatica Cloud tools and services.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, configure, and deploy data pipelines using Informatica IDMC / IICS (Application Integration, Data Integration, Cloud Mapping Designer, Taskflows).
• Integrate cloud and on-prem systems (e.g., Oracle, Snowflake, S3, Azure, APIs).
• Build real-time and batch integration workflows aligned with enterprise data strategies.
• Participate in cloud migration initiatives, including refactoring PowerCenter mappings into IDMC/IICS.
• Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance with banking regulations.
• Troubleshoot integration failures, optimize performance, and support production deployments.
• Collaborate with architects, data engineers, and business teams to implement robust cloud data solutions.
• Prepare technical documentation and ensure best practices in cloud integration.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3–5+ years of experience with Informatica IDMC / IICS or a mixed background with PowerCenter + IDMC migration.
• Strong understanding of cloud data integration, APIs, and REST/SOAP connections.
• Proficiency with relational and cloud databases (Oracle, Snowflake, SQL Server, Azure SQL, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with taskflows, mappings, parameterization, and reusable components in IICS.
• Experience in financial services or other regulated environments.
• Strong SQL skills and an understanding of modern data architectures.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with PowerCenter-to-IDMC migration projects.
• Familiarity with CI/CD for data pipelines and Git-based versioning.
• Knowledge of AWS/Azure/GCP cloud services.
• Experience with data cataloging or data governance tools.
