Brand & Marketing Head
The mandate of the Brand & Marketing unit is to lead, promote, and shape the Julius Baer brand, continuously strengthening its brand equity within the Group’s High Net Worth Individual (HNWI) and Ultra High Net Worth Individual (UHNWI) target segments in its strategic markets.
The Head of Brand & Marketing is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive brand and marketing strategy that enhances Julius Baer's position as a leading wealth management firm. This senior leadership role oversees multiple cross-functional brand and marketing teams, collaborating closely with various departments to promote the bank's brand, products, and services to clients, prospects, and other stakeholders.
Job Description
- Develop and execute a global brand strategy aligned with Julius Baer’s purpose of ‘Creating value beyond wealth’, supporting its growth strategy and financial targets while fueling market initiatives.
- Manage Julius Baer’s brand identity, including visual identity, tone of voice, and overall brand expression, ensuring consistent application across all touchpoints such as advertising, sponsorships, and partnerships.
- Establish and manage a brand partnership ecosystem designed to promote the brand and engage clients and prospects in strategic markets.
- Deliver high-quality events, conferences, and seminars that showcase Julius Baer's expertise, fostering relationships with clients, prospects, and other key stakeholders.
- Oversee the development and implementation of targeted cross-channel advertising and content campaigns.
- Leverage data-driven insights to effectively engage with clients and prospects.
- Define Group-wide marketing initiatives and drive them in close collaboration with Regional Marketing.
- Develop and manage marketing budgets, resources, and vendor relationships to support marketing initiatives.
- Lead and manage a team of marketing professionals specializing in branding, advertising, content marketing, digital channels (website and social media), and events.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including communications, sales, and product teams, to ensure brand consistency.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience in comparable roles, preferably within the financial services industry.
- In-depth understanding of brand management, marketing strategy, digital marketing channels, and campaign execution.
- Ability to work in an integrative manner across disciplines.
- A track record of data-driven decision-making.
