Join Zurich Instruments as a Senior Warehouse Specialist

Your Role
As a Senior Warehouse Specialist, you will take ownership of our warehousing, inventory control, and incoming goods processes. You will be responsible for the intralogistics that ensure production is consistently supplied, maintaining accuracy in our ERP system, and continually improving warehouse operations. This role also requires acting as the interface between the warehouse, purchasing, and production, while serving as a backup for our logistician on outgoing shipments when necessary.
Your Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end intralogistics, inventory control, and warehouse management processes, including daily replenishment of production storage locations.
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming goods; ensure that documentation and quality checks meet our standards.
- Conduct inventory counts and regular cycle counts, ensuring that physical stock consistently aligns with the ERP system.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date logistics ERP Master Data and workflows.
- Collaborate closely with Purchasing to optimize inventory levels and ensure a smooth interface between the warehouse and manufacturing.
- Lead continuous improvements in warehouse processes and participate actively in optimization projects.
- Act as backup for our Logistician, including the preparation and packing of shipments, as well as conducting four-eye outgoing inspections.
Your Profile
- Completed logistics apprenticeship with further education; a degree in Logistics or Supply Chain is an asset.
- Over 5 years of experience in warehouse management and intralogistics, preferably in a technical or precision manufacturing environment.
- Hands-on experience with warehouse-related ERP modules; familiarity with Odoo is a plus.
- Proven track record in process optimization and lean management, with the capability to lead improvement initiatives.
- Independent, structured, and conscientious working style, complemented by strong organizational skills.
- Fluency in German and English.
