Job Opportunity: Goods Receiving Specialist
Join the SWISS TechOps division as a Goods Receiving Specialist, where you will play a vital role in managing the receipt of technical aircraft materials. This position offers an exciting challenge in the dynamic logistics sector of the aviation industry.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for the accurate inspection and release of materials in accordance with applicable specifications and standards. Your tasks will include:
- Performing quality inspections of received parts, verifying physical condition, approved documentation, condition status, quantity delivered, and entering relevant information into the system.
- Labeling serviceable parts according to internal procedures and legal requirements.
- Conducting virtual receiving for materials used in outstations.
- Transferring non-approved parts to the quarantine area.
- Maintaining orderly and updated records of the quarantine area.
- Ensuring parts are packed in accordance with Manufacturers and ATA300 specifications.
- Supporting other warehousing sections with general storeman tasks.
- Upholding all safety measures and adhering to the just culture policy.
Requirements
To be successful in this position, candidates should meet the following qualifications:
- Successfully completed education or extensive experience in logistics, mechanics, or aviation.
- Knowledge of EASA and NAA regulations.
- Experience in airline business processes and supply chain is an advantage.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken).
- Valid Driving License Cat. B.
- Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with AMOS is ideal.
- Basic goods receiving and dangerous goods training preferred.
- Willingness to work in shifts (3 shifts / 24/7).
Additional Information
Starting date: February 01, 2026, or upon agreement. This is a limited position until January 31, 2028.
